Press Conference for New Production Line Launch of High-end Die Steel helded by Hongsheng Heavy Industry

        On the morning of June 14,2019, Jiangsu Hongsheng Heavy Industry Group Co., Ltd. held a press conference for the launch of new production line of high-end die steel. Wu Bingshu, Chairman of China Die & Mould Industry Association; Jin Jiagao, Member of the Standing Committee of Jiangyin Municipal Party Committee; Ou Hongyuan, Chairman of Hongsheng Heavy Industry Group Corporation; Wu Xiaochun, Chief Scientist of the National Major Special Project of Tool & Die Steel and Deputy Director of State Key Laboratory of High-quality Special Steel Metallurgy and Preparation; Ou Zhengwei, General Manager of Hongsheng Heavy Industry Group;  Ruan Feng, Academic Leader, Professor & Doctoral Tutor of South China University of Technology, Consultant of National Quality Supervision and Testing Center of Mold Product; Huang Lifeng, Operation Director of the National Quality Supervision and Testing Center of Mold Product; Tan Chaowu, President of the Shenzhen Mould Industry Association; Liu Depu, Secretary General of the Shanghai Mould Industry Association; Du Jitao, Chairman of the National Moulding Ecological Alliance and Vice President of Shanghai Die & Mould Industry Association, Associate Professor, Ph.D. of the Department of Manufacturing Engineering of Shanghai University of Engineering and Technology; as well as chairmans, general managers, chief engineers of the mold industry and persons in charge of the related companies in the industry across the country, totally more than 150 people participated in this event.

        Ou Zhengwei, general manager of Hongsheng Heavy Industry Group, delivered a speech at the press conference. First of all. He reviewed the development history of the group company focusing on high-quality special steel for more than 20 years, it has formed a complete industrial chain integrating cast steel-electro slag forging-heat treatment-machining, and continues to increase investment in research and development, deeply cooperating with universities and research institutes such as Materials School of Shanghai University, to develop and produce world-class high-end die steel. This time, the new production line will be launched as an opportunity to further enhance the company's competitiveness and make a positive contribution to transformation and upgrading of the country's basic industry.

        Wu Bingshu, President of China Die & Mould Industry Association, delivered a speech at the press conference. He congratulated Hongsheng Heavy Industry Group for the official launch of the new production line, introduced the development status, trends and opportunities of the domestic mold steel field, and encouraged Hongsheng Heavy Industry Group to increase investment, manage scientificly, develop innovatively, strive to be the industry leader, and make new achievements for the development of mold steel.

        Subsequently, Professor Wu Xiaochun of Shanghai University gave a lecture on "Current Status and Development Trend of Tool and Die Steel Research at Home and Abroad".

        Teng Lihong, general manager of Hongsheng Die Steel Company, introduced the company and the new production line.

        After the launch ceremony, guests visited the new production line. With the continuous advancement of the domestic economic transformation in recent years, the demand for special metallurgical forging products of high-end die steel, aviation and petroleum is strong. Hongsheng Heavy Industry seized the opportunity and the production of the new line will meet the market's strong demand.

        After the company’s on-site activity, the guests came to the group’s subsidiary Jiangyin Changsheng Wyndham Grand Plaza Hotel for business negotiations. The discussion on the scene was enthusiastic and a number of supporting cooperation programs were put forward to jointly promote the high-quality development of the die steel industry.
