The use conditions of petrochemical machinery equipment steel are very harsh, and different uses have their own characteristics. In addition to the general requirements of ductile–brittle transition temperature for low-temperature service, high resistance to reheat cracking and delayed cracking, there are special requirements for related fields of use, such as pressure vessels requiring good weldability and formability, while requiring low temper embrittlement and hydrogen resistance.
