Rolls in metallurgical machinery are in direct or indirect contact with the rolled piece during the rolling process, forcing the rolled piece to produce plastic deformation, and therefore bear great rolling pressure, rolling torque, static load and dynamic load. With the surface subjected to violent friction and wear of the rolled material, it is often overheated locally, which may cause thermal cracks. Therefore, there are strict requirements on the strength, stiffness, toughness, surface hardness, wear resistance and roll shape to ensure the quality and output of the rolled product.
The work roll requires the surface with high and uniform hardness, deep enough hardened layer, as well as good wear resistance and thermal crack resistance. Hongsheng has the production capacity to provide rough machining blanks of electroslag steel with diameters below Φ650mm.
